1. What we collect

• Orders: what you bought, when, and what you paid.
• Shipping details: the name, address and phone number for a print order.
• Your activity: your cart, favourites and reviews.
• Usage data: basic technical data such as IP address and browser, used to keep the store secure.

Card details are handled by our payment providers. We never store full card numbers.

2. How we use it

• To run your account, take payment and deliver your ebooks.
• To print and ship print orders.
• To send order confirmations, shipping updates and account emails.
• To prevent fraud and abuse.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed: payment providers to take payment, our print partner (your shipping details for that order only), and service providers such as email delivery. Authors see that a copy sold, not who bought it. We also share information where the law requires it.

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and remember your cart. We do not use advertising trackers.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account while it is open, and order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

6. Your choices and rights

You can update your name, email and password in your library's Account tab. To get a copy of your data, correct it or close your account, email support@booksoasis.com. If you are in the EU, UK or California you may have extra rights under GDPR or the CCPA; the same address applies.

7. Children

BooksOasis is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without a parent or guardian's involvement.

8. Changes

If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
